Our rules are simple and are actually just common sense for those who are keen fisherman.

We only ask that you look after the fish and the environment and leave the place as you found it.

As not everyone is able to look after what has been made available to them we have some rules – failure to keep to them will mean you will be banned from fishing at Lower Lakes.

• All nets must be completly dry before us
• Keep nets are only allowed for silverfish
• A landing net must be used for all fish
• An unhooking mat must be used
• No rods to be left unattended
• Barbless hooks only
• Juniors under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult
• Baits must be used in moderation. However nuts, seeds, cat and dog meats are banned.
• Clean up all litter and leave the place as you found it.
